Update the client software

This section describes how to update the YubiOn FIDO Logon client software (macOS version) to the latest version.

Start the configuration tool.
Open the version check section. After “Checking for the latest version…” is displayed, it shows whether your current version is the latest.
If a newer version is available, a message such as “This is not the latest version. Latest version: X.X.X” is displayed. Click the “Download” button.
Once the download is complete, a “Show in Finder” button is displayed. Clicking it opens the location of the downloaded .pkg file.
Open the downloaded .pkg file and run the installation using the same steps as Install the client software.

You do not need to uninstall the software beforehand to update it. Running the new version’s .pkg file directly overwrites the existing installation.
