This section explains how to uninstall the YubiOn FIDO Logon client software from a macOS environment.
This command is only supported in the macOS version of the client software (version 0.9.1 or later). The Windows version supports uninstallation from the OS installed apps list or uninstallation using the MSI installer.
Because this command involves removing system files and unregistering authorization components, it must be executed with administrative privileges (root privileges).
Execute the command with sudo as follows:
sudo FlsCliTool uninstall
If executed without administrative privileges, an error will occur (exit code: 2) and the uninstall process will not be performed.
When the command is executed, the following operations are automatically performed:
This command cannot be executed on devices where uninstallation is restricted by management server policy (exit code: 11).
Even after uninstallation is completed, the authorization plugin cache may remain in the system memory. For safety, it is recommended to restart the system after completing the uninstallation (especially if exit code 12 is returned).
