Register the enterprise authenticator

When the Enterprise Authenticator Management feature is enabled, some parts of the registration process display differently.
This section explains how the registration process differs when this feature is enabled.

How to register from the configuration Tool

This section describes how to register an authenticator using the configuration tool.

When the Enterprise Authenticator Management feature is enabled, additional messages about available authenticators appear during registration.
The displayed messages vary based on the settings.

  • If “Only enterprise authenticators can be registered” is set
    A message indicating that only enterprise authenticators can be registered appears.

    Registration fails if a non-enterprise authenticator is used.

  • If “Only enterprise authenticators assigned for the account can be registered” is set
    A message indicates that only specific enterprise authenticators can be registered.
    The vendor and authenticator ID of the allowed authenticators are displayed.
